Expanded 'Hope Floats' Soundtrack Due

The soundtrack to the 1998 film Hope Floats will be reissued on April 24 in a remastered and expanded edition. Although it has sold 2.7 million copies since its release, the album has been commercially unavailable since 2000. Artists on the soundtrack include Sheryl Crow, the Rolling Stones, Lyle Lovett, Trisha Yearwood, Bob Seger and Martina McBride, the Mavericks, Barry Manilow, the Temptations, Bryan Adams, Gillian Welch, Whiskeytown, Deana Carter and Lila McCann, among others, for a total of 18 tracks. However, Garth Brooks' "To Make You Feel My Love," a No. 1 country single on the original soundtrack, will not be included. Brooks, who controls his own recordings, now sells his music exclusively at Wal-Mart.
