Tim McGraw’s Label Partners With Mercury Records

StyleSonic Records, a new label co-founded by Tim McGraw, has partnered with Mercury Records to launch the career of Halfway to Hazard, a new band with roots in eastern Kentucky. “These guys are the real thing,” McGraw says. “The songs are amazing, they have great energy live, and we just had a blast making the record they wanted to make.” McGraw created StyleSonic with producer Byron Gallimore in September 2006. The band’s first single, “Daisy,” was co-written by Anthony Smith and band members David Tolliver and Chad Warrix.
