Willie Nelson will host his Fourth of July picnic in the state of Washington this year, marking the first time the event has taken place outside of Texas. The lineup also includes alt-country band Son Volt, the recently reunited Old 97s, Southern rockers Drive-By Truckers and singer-songwriter Amos Lee. The concert will take place at the Gorge Amphitheater in George, Wash., about 150 miles east of Seattle. Tickets go on sale May 12. Nelson founded the picnic in 1973 in Dripping Springs, Texas, and has held it in various locations throughout the state until this year.
