Keith Urban Cancels Show Due to Throat Infection

Keith Urban canceled a concert in Manchester, England, on Saturday night (April 28) because of a bacterial throat infection, and his doctors have advised voice rest. Urban is scheduled to return to Manchester in October for a concert, according to a statement posted on his official Web site. He is slated for six concerts in his native Australia starting May 11 in Brisbane. He will begin the North American leg of his tour in June. Urban was placed on several weeks of voice rest in 2003 because of a polyp on his right vocal cord.
