When I feel stronger, this will be the first dessert I make! Try it. You’ll like it.
1 box yellow cake mix
1 20-ounce can crushed pineapple in syrup
1 21-ounce can cherry pie filling
1 cup chopped pecans
1 stick butter
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease 9 x 13 cooking dish. Dump undrained pineapple into the pan. Spread evenly. Dump in pie filling and spread evenly. Dump dry cake mix onto cherry layer, then spread evenly. Sprinkle pecans over cake mix. Slice butter into thin pieces and place over pecan layer.
Bake at 350° for 50 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
