Darryl Worley, Pam Tillis, Van Zant, Jason Michael Carroll, Bryan White and Blue County were among the country music artists cruising through downtown Nashville Wednesday afternoon (June 6) for a parade signaling the arrival of the 2007 CMA Music Festival. The parade was followed by musical performances at a block party in front of the Sommet Center, a venue most recently known as the Nashville Arena. The four-day festival begins Thursday (June 7) on the banks of the Cumberland River with a 10 a.m. concert featuring Terri Clark, Craig Morgan, John Anderson, Jamie O’Neal and Nashville Star winner Chris Young. In addition to the daytime concerts, a nightly concert series begins Thursday at LP Field with a lineup that includes Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley, the Wreckers and Jason Michael Carroll.
