George Strait’s Tux Jacket Displayed at Hall of Fame

George Strait’s hand-tailored Brooks Brother tuxedo jacket, which he wore during his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in November, went on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on Thursday (June 7). Strait was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Kris Kristofferson during the 2006 CMA Awards show. Throughout his career, Strait has won 16 CMA awards including two trophies for entertainer of the year. The jacket will be displayed in the museum’s third-floor gallery through December.
