Hazel's Hot Dish Recipe of the Week

Hot Crab Dip

Sounds fancy, but it really isn’t. And it’s good.

3 tablespoons butter
small onion finely chopped
1/2 green pepper chopped fine
1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese grated
1 6 1/2 ounce can crabmeat
1 tablespoon catsup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
1 tablespoon cooking sherry
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Melt butter. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until translucent. Mix well remaining ingredients. Place in a chafing dish and serve with corn chips or Wheat Thins. I like the latter best. Even good crackers work well with this dish.
