Hall of Fame Prepares Marty Robbins Exhibit

Marty Robbins will be the subject of an extensive exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, beginning Aug. 3. Titled Marty Robbins: Among My Souvenirs, a reference to his No. 1 hit from 1976, the exhibit will feature Robbins’ high school yearbook, two small-bodied Martin 5-18 guitars, a reproduction of his 1973 NASCAR license, a racing uniform and helmet and more than a dozen stage costumes. Robbins entered the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1982, the same year he died. His numerous hits include “Singing the Blues,” “El Paso” and “Don’t Worry.”
