Lonestar, Daniels and Morgan Perform for Wounded Soldier

Lonestar, Charlie Daniels, Craig Morgan and several other country music acts will perform Tuesday (July 17) at Nashville’s Greer Stadium during a concert to benefit Sgt. Kevin Downs, who was severely wounded two years ago during combat in Iraq. Downs, 22, sustained burns to more than 60 percent of his outer body and was burned internally in his lungs and throat. He also lost both legs in the attack that claimed the lives of three fellow soldiers from the National Guard’s 278th Regimental Combat Team. Tuesday’s concert will also feature Joe Diffie, Collin Raye, David Lee Murphy, John Berry, Bomshel and Jamie Lee Thurston.
