First Place Alabama Chicken Casserole

3 cups cooked chicken
4 hard-boiled eggs
2 cups cooked rice (cooked in chicken broth)
1 1/2 cups celery
small onion finely chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
2 cans mushroom soup
1 3-ounce package slivered almonds
1 t salt
2 T lemon juice
1 cup bread crumbs
2 T butter

Mix ingredients except crumbs and butter. Place mixture in a buttered 9 x 13 casserole. Brown bread crumbs in butter lightly. Sprinkle over casserole. Refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before cooking. Bake 45 minutes at 350°.
