Dualtone Founders Sell Company to Partner

Dualtone Music Group founders Dan Herrington and Scott Robinson have sold their shares of the record label to partner Cal Turner III, who also operates the Cal IV Entertainment music publishing company in Nashville. Established in 2001, Dualtone has released albums by Guy Clark, June Carter Cash, Bobby Bare, Charlie Robison, Radney Foster, BR549, David Ball and others. As part of the company’s restructuring, Robinson will remain in his current position as president and Herrington will leave the company. Both will retain a minority profit interest in Dualtone.
