Nashville Hosts IBMA World of Bluegrass, Fan Fest

Thousands of bluegrass musicians and fans are in Nashville this week for the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) World of Bluegrass business conference, as well as Fan Fest, which offers three days of live music starting on Friday (Oct. 5). The IBMA Awards will be presented Thursday night (Oct. 4) at the Grand Ole Opry House with host Sam Bush. In addition, the Ryman Auditorium held a Bill Monroe tribute concert on Tuesday night (Oct. 2) featuring the Del McCoury Band, the Grascals, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Rhonda Vincent and the Rage, Jesse McReynolds and Steep Canyon Rangers. Performers at Fan Fest will include Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea, Marty Raybon, Cherryholmes, the Infamous Stringdusters and many more.
