Alison Krauss' Manager to Be Honored by Scruggs Forum

Denise Stiff, the longtime manager of Alison Krauss, will be honored at the inaugural Louise Scruggs Memorial Forum on Nov. 13 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. In 1955, Scruggs was the first woman in country music to book and manage a musician's career -- that of Flatt & Scruggs. "Denise has done wonderful things for Alison and for traditional music," said Earl Scruggs. "Louise would be pleased to know that Denise was selected for this first forum in her honor." Stiff was executive producer of music for O Brother, Where Art Thou? and producer of the Down From the Mountain tour.
