Pumpkin Pie

Ask Adam, Jeremy, Tyler, Tara, Trevor or Mattie Smith, and they will say this is their favorite pie. I’ve printed it before because it is the best pumpkin pie in the world.

1 15 1/4-ounce can pumpkin
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

Preheat oven to 425°.

Combine pumpkin, milk, beaten eggs, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg in a large bowl. Turn into a pastry shell and bake 15 minutes in a 425° preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes longer. Cool before slicing.

Let the kids walk around the house eating a slice of pumpkin pie from their hand. They will never forget it.
