Justin Townes Earle, the 25-year-old son of Steve Earle, has signed with Bloodshot Records. His full-length debut album, The Good Life, will be released in the spring. The album was produced by R.S. Field at the House of David Studios in Nashville. Earle was formerly a band member in the Swindlers and the Distributors but is now focusing on songwriting. (He is named after songwriter Townes Van Zandt.) In addition to appearing at next year’s South by Southwest music conference in Austin, Texas, Earle will also tour with the Felice Brothers in 2008.
