Marie Osmond Finishes Third on Dancing With the Stars

Marie Osmond took third place on this season’s Dancing With the Stars on ABC on Tuesday night (Nov. 27). Race car driver Helio Castroneves placed first, just ahead of Spice Girl Melanie Brown. In a televised segment, Osmond said the show “gave me something that I knew was solid, something I can count on. It’s been one of the best experiences of my life.” Osmond’s first country single, “Paper Roses,” went to No. 1 in 1973. Her other No. 1 country hits include “Meet Me in Montana” (with Dan Seals), “You’re Still New to Me” (with Paul Davis) and “There’s No Stopping Your Heart.”
