Keith Urban Guests on Rhonda Vincent’s New Album

Keith Urban has contributed harmony vocals to “The Water Is Wide,” a track on Rhonda Vincent’s new album, Good Thing Going. Vincent learned the traditional Irish song after hearing a recording by singer-songwriter Karla Bonoff. Vincent says, “Something I purposely targeted on the project was to have unique guests who might not be on everything you hear.” Regarding Urban’s involvement, she notes, “I knew it was going to happen, but I didn’t tell anyone. I couldn’t risk jinxing it.” Set for release on Jan. 8, Good Thing Going also includes Vincent’s duet with IIIrd Tyme Out’s Russell Moore on “I Give All My Love to You” and features guest appearances by Jesse McReynolds, Bryan Sutton, Becky Issacs, Kathy Chiavola and James Stroud.
