Vince Gill, Hal Ketchum to Sing for Alive Hospice

Vince Gill, Hal Ketchum and Kathy Mattea are among the artists who will perform at Nashville’s Bluebird Café in January during a series of benefit concerts for Alive Hospice. Formerly known as Friends of Life, this is the 15th year for the series. The performing songwriters and the venue are donating all proceeds to the hospice. Ketchum begins the series on Wednesday (Jan. 2) with Gary Nicholson, Billy Burnette, Shawn Camp, Jon Randall and Pete Wasner. Mattea will be joined by Jon Vezner, Pat Donohue and Kim Richey on Jan. 9. Gill and Amy Grant will appear Jan. 23. Other musicians taking part in the series include Matraca Berg, Suzy Bogguss, Sam Bush, Michael Peterson and Kim Carnes.
