Garth Brooks, George Jones Plan CRS Visits

Garth Brooks and George Jones will be making appearances during the upcoming Country Radio Seminar taking place in Nashville. Taking place March 5-7, the convention will attract radio programmers and personalities from throughout the nation. Brooks will answer questions from audience members during the seminar’s opening session on March 5. Gerry House, morning show host for WSIX-FM in Nashville, will conduct the interview and moderate the discussion. Jones, who has complained that country radio stations will not play records by older artists, will also field questions during a panel discussion titled “Life of a Legend.” The panel will also include Nashville veteran Norro Wilson, who produced five of Jones’ albums.
