Trace Adkins' skills as a narrator helped keep him in the running following Thursday night's (Jan. 10) episode of NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice. In the second week of the competition, Donald Trump fired gymnast Nadia Comaneci for her lack of leadership abilities. The task for the week was for the two teams to create a TV commercial promoting a dog food company and pet adoption. One of Adkins' teammates, boxer Lennox Lewis, was featured in the ad that included the singer's voiceover work. Adkins has previously added his voice to the animated series, King of the Hill, and commercials for Kentucky Fried Chicken.
