Montgomery Gentry and Darryl Worley are scheduled to perform Friday night (Jan. 25) in Steamboat Springs, Colo., during the 14th annual Country in the Rockies charity event. Benefiting the T.J. Martell Foundation in its research of leukemia, cancer and AIDS, Country in the Rockies gathers country music fans and artists for five days of skiing and music. In addition to the music performances, auctions play a major role in the fundraising efforts. Troy Gentry, who has been sporting facial hair in recent weeks, shaved off his beard Thursday (Jan. 24) to raise $20,000 pledged by one of the event’s attendees. Country in the Rockies continues through Sunday.
