This year’s inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame will be announced on Feb. 12 during a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville. Founded in 1961 by the Country Music Association, the Country Music Hall of Fame recognizes singers, songwriters, musicians, record producers and music industry executives for their outstanding contributions to country music. George Strait, Sonny James and studio musician Harold Bradley were inducted in 2006. Last year’s inductees were Vince Gill, Mel Tillis and Ralph Emery.
