American Idol‘s Phil Stacey Plans Country CD

Phil Stacey, an American Idol finalist from season six, will release a country album on Lyric Street Records on April 29. The first single is “If You Didn’t Love Me,” written by Wendell Mobley, Jason Sellers and Rascal Flatts’ lead vocalist Gary LeVox. He filmed the video this week in the Nashville area with director Roman White, whose credits include Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats.” The album was originally scheduled to be release in mid-April. “It has always been my first priority to make the album I have promised the fans, and I needed this extra studio time,” Stacey said.
