Clint Black Covers Pop Hits on New EP

Clint Black will release a digital EP on March 4 featuring his new single, a cover of the Hollies' 1972 pop hit, "Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)." The project also includes Black's recent single, "The Strong One," and a new duet with wife Lisa Hartman Black on "You Still Get to Me." The iTunes version of the EP will also feature a fourth track, a cover of "Everybody's Talkin'," a 1969 pop hit for Harry Nilsson. All of the songs will be featured on Black's next full-length album to be released May 27 on Equity Records, the label he co-founded. The new sessions were co-produced by James Stroud. "Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress)" was written by Harold Clarke, Roger Cook and Roger Greenaway. Cook, a veteran songwriter, is the father of CMT host Katie Cook.
