Alan Jackson Releases New CD, Good Time

Alan Jackson’s Good Time leads a long list of releases on Tuesday (March 4). Jackson wrote all 17 songs on the album, including his current hit, “Small Town Southern Man.” Other new albums include Carlene Carter’s Stronger (Yep Roc), Chatham County Line’s IV (Yep Roc), Kathleen Edwards’ Asking for Flowers (Rounder) and Ashton Shepherd’s Sounds So Good (MCA Nashville). New folk albums include Caroline Herring’s Lantana (Signature Sounds), Meg Hutchinson’s Come Up Full (Red House) and David Wilcox’s Airstream (What Are). Reissues include deluxe, expanded editions of Lynyrd Skynrd’s Street Survivors (1977) and Whiskeytown’s Stranger’s Almanac (1997).
