Blue Rodeo, Paul Brandt Win Juno Awards

Blue Rodeo and Paul Brandt were among the winners at the Juno Awards — the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy — in Calgary this weekend (April 5-6). Blue Rodeo won honors as group of the year, as well as adult alternative album (for Small Miracle) and video (for “C’mon,” with producer Christopher Mills). Brandt won country recording of the year for his album, Risk. The Sunday night ceremony also featured a performance by Anne Murray, with duet partners Jann Arden and Sarah Brightman.
