Chicken and Noodles

4 large chicken breasts
3 celery stalks
whole onion quartered
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
8 ounces egg noodles
1/2 stick butter

Wash and skin chicken. Place in a large pot with celery, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cover with 8 cups of water. Cook chicken until fork tender. Cool the chicken. Discard veggies. Strain broth if needed. Chop chicken into bite-size pieces. Return to broth in pot with noodles and butter. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and allow to cook about 10 minutes until noodles are tender.
