CMA Music Festival Special Will Air on ABC

A two-hour special about this year’s CMA Music Festival will air on ABC on Sept. 8. Titled CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night to Rock, the show will be filmed June 5-8 in Nashville, with a focus on the nightly concerts at LP Field. In addition, the CMA has announced a series of free concerts during the event for families, including PBS host Miss Lori and children’s singer Dennis Scott. Additionally, the Clark Brothers will play a free, late night show in front of the Hard Rock Café on June 5, followed by Whiskey Falls on June 6 and Mark Wills on June 7. ABC Daytime actors from All My Children, General Hospital and One Life to Live will also attend the event.
