Scarecrow Inn Broccoli Salad

2 heads broccoli
1 cup peanuts
1 cup raisins
8 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled
¼ teaspoon grated onion

Remove flowerets and chop broccoli in a bowl. Add remaining ingredients.

In a separate bowl, mix together ¼ cup red wine vinegar, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 cup mayonnaise. Mix well and refrigerate until serving.
