Apple Cake

3 eggs
1 ¼ cups oil
2 cups sugar
2 ½ cups self-rising flour
2 medium apples, peeled and chopped
1 cup coconut
1 cup pecans

Preheat oven to 350°.

Grease a tube pan. Set oven at 350°. Blend eggs, oil and sugar until creamy. Add flour a little at a time and blend well. Batter will be stiff. Fold in apples, coconut and pecans. Pour into tube pan. Bake 1 hour. Remove from pan after 30 minutes.

Top the warm cake with the following:

Topping:
½ stick butter
½ cup brown sugar
1/3 cup milk

Mix ingredients in a saucepan. Boil for 3 minutes and pour over cake.
