Creamed Corn

An easy way to make a favorite.

3 cups fresh corn cut from the cob
1/3 cup butter
1 tablespoon bacon grease
1 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper

Cut corn from cob and scrape the cob. Place butter, bacon grease, sugar and corn in a microwaveable bowl. Stir. Cook in microwave on high for 7 minutes. Stir. Add salt and pepper.
