Grammy winners Jim Lauderdale and Raul Malo are among those scheduled to honor Country Music Hall of Fame member Glen Campbell during the upcoming Americana Music Festival and Conference taking place Sept. 17-20 in Nashville. The Sept. 20 tribute at the Cannery Ballroom is one of several events being coordinated by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville Public Television and the Americana Music Association. Campbell will make an appearance during the tribute that will also include performances by Jesse Dayton, Greta Gaines, Chuck Mead, Jason Ringenberg and Bryson Jones & the Sin City All Stars. Earlier in the day, Campbell will visit the museum for a Q&A session and a screening of the film, Meet Glen Campbell: A Documentary. During the Americana conference, the museum will also host events featuring several other artists, including Jerry Douglas, Kathy Mattea and Carlene Carter.
