Tim McGraw’s Swampstock Postponed Due to Hurricane Gustav

Tim McGraw has postponed his Swampstock event until 2009 due to the effects of Hurricane Gustav in Louisiana. The charity concert was originally scheduled for Sept. 13 with performances by McGraw, Faith Hill, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley and others. The event was being presented by Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation, a nonprofit organized founded by McGraw and Hill. “We have spoken with local officials, and Neighbor’s Keeper Foundation wants to lend its support to those relief efforts,” said McGraw. “Although Faith and I are personally disappointed, we understand that the priority is people’s homes and livelihood in this challenging time. Our prayers are with our friends and neighbors, and God bless them.”
