Johnny Cash, Gene Watson Spotlighted by Hall of Fame

Johnny Cash and Gene Watson will be the subjects of spotlight exhibits at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum this fall. Cash's exhibit, which will be unveiled on Sept. 30, features a black gabardine suit designed by Nudie's Rodeo Tailors, a black leather duster designed by Manuel and a leather briefcase bearing his initials, JRC. Watson's exhibit, slated for an Oct. 7 debut, will display a 1970s green suit designed by Nudie's Rodeo Tailors, a suede cowboy hat with decorative pins and a floral-print Western shirt from the early 1980s. Watson has 21 Top 10 country hits, including "Farewell Party," "14 Carat Mind" and "Love in the Hot Afternoon."
