“Happy Trails” Enters Grammy Hall of Fame

“Happy Trails,” the signature song of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, will enter the Grammy Hall of Fame this year. The enduring country single was released by RCA Victor in 1952. The Grammy Hall of Fame will induct 28 songs from a variety of genres this year, including Roy Acuff & the Crazy Tennesseans’ “Great Speckled Bird” (Vocalion, 1936) and Bill Monroe and His Blue Grass Boys’ “Mule Skinner Blues” (Bluebird, 1940). The list now includes 826 titles.
