A second season of CMT's Can You Duet is scheduled to premiere in June. The first season's premiere in 2008 was CMT's highest-rated original series debut ever. An open audition, sponsored by CMT and American Idol producers FremantleMedia, will be held March 7 at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Contestants will perform on the show as a duo. Last year's winners, Caitlin & Will, signed to Sony Music Nashville's Columbia Records, and their debut single, "Even Now," will be released this spring. Finalists Joey & Rory ("Cheater, Cheater") signed to Vanguard/Sugar Hill and released their debut album, Life of a Song, in October. In addition, semi-finalists Kate & Kacey (the Coppolas) have signed with Big Machine Records.
