Reba McEntire Plans Benefit Concert for Wrestling Coach

Reba McEntire will perform a benefit concert for a local wrestling coach in Hoffman Estates, Ill., on March 21. She will be joined in concert by Red Steagall, a singer who discovered McEntire when she performed the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo in 1974. All proceeds will benefit the Teachers, Coaches and Students Foundation, which was created by former students of Coach Richard Carlini to pay for his medical expenses due to AVM (arteriovenous malformation). Carlini coached at Maine West High School in Des Plaines, Ill, near Chicago. Tickets go on sale Monday (March 2).
