Brenda Lee Exhibit Planned at Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Brenda Lee will be the subject of an exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Brenda Lee: Dynamite opens Aug. 7 and continues through June 2010. Lee was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002. She is the only woman to be recognized by both institutions. As a teenager, Lee was one of the most successful pop singers of the 1960s, with hits like "Sweet Nothin's," "I'm Sorry" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," which were all recorded in Nashville with producer Owen Bradley. Her country hits from the 1970s included "Nobody Wins" and "Big Four Poster Bed."
