Phil Vassar and the Boston Pops orchestra will perform on May 30 to raise awareness about organ donation and transplant research. John Williams will conduct during the event. The event, billed as "Share the Beat," was founded by Robert Redford's son, James Redford, who received a liver transplant in 1993 following a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. The concert will be held at Boston's Symphony Hall, and proceeds will fund the American Society of Transplantion's endowment.
