Hazel Smith's Hot Dish Recipe of the Week

Beanfeast

1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can chick peas or garbanzo beans, drained
1 can lima beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 large can tomatoes, chopped
2 teaspoons chili powder (or more)
½ teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 cup grated cheese
2 teaspoons bacon grease

Preheat oven to 350°.

Drain beans and mix together in a casserole dish. Add chopped tomatoes. Add seasonings and mix. Combine bread crumbs and cheese and sprinkle over beans. Bake in 350° oven for 40 minutes until brown and crispy on top.
