Martina McBride and Vince Gill performed Tuesday (Oct. 20) at the annual fundraiser for Rocketown, a nonprofit youth facility, skate park and music venue in Nashville founded by singer-songwriter Michael W. Smith. Smith served as master of ceremonies at the luncheon. McBride, accompanied by her brother, sang “Wild Angels” and “Over the Rainbow.” Former NFL coach Tony Dungy was the featured speaker. Gill concluded the program with “What You Give Away.” McBride begins the Shine All Night tour with Trace Adkins on Nov. 20 in Moline, Ill. The tour runs through spring of 2010. Gill and his wife, Amy Grant, will perform at the Jim Lauderdale & Friends concert on Nov. 9 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. See photos from the luncheon.
