Sam Bush, Lyle Lovett Offer New Albums

Sam Bush and Lyle Lovett both released new albums on Tuesday (Oct. 20). Bush's Circles Around Me (Sugar Hill) is his seventh solo album. Del McCoury makes a guest appearance on two Bill Monroe songs, "Roll On Buddy, Roll On" and "Midnight on the Stormy Deep." Bush co-wrote the title track with Jeff Black and "The Ballad of Stringbean and Estelle" with Guy Clark and Verlon Thompson. Lovett's Natural Forces (Curb/Lost Highway) features five original songs, including one he co-wrote with Robert Earl Keen. In addition, Lovett recorded six covers from his favorite songwriters, including David Ball's "Don't You Think I Feel It Too" and Townes Van Zandt's "Loretta." Other new releases include Grasstowne's The Other Side of Towne (Pinecastle) and Larry Sparks' I Just Want to Thank You Lord (Rural Rhythm).
