Fruit Salad

If you don’t like this, there’s something bad wrong with you!

1 15 ½ ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1 18 ¾ ounce can sliced peaches, drained and chopped
3 oranges peeled and sectioned
1 large apple, unpeeled, cored and chopped
1 large banana, chopped
½ cup maraschino cherries, drained and halved
½ cup chopped pecans

Combine the above seven ingredients in a large bowl.

Dressing:

1 egg yolk, beaten
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon butter
¾ cup marshmallows
1 cup whipped topping, thawed

Combine egg yolk, sugar, vinegar and butter in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick and boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Cool. Stir in whipped topping. Pour dressing over fruit, toss gently until coated and serve.

Refrigerate uneaten portions.
