Colt Ford’s Live From the Suwannee River Jam is the week’s only new album. It debuts at No. 52.
There are, however, five new songs, led by Alan Jackson’s “It’s Just That Way” (No. 50) and followed by Trailer Choir’s “Rockin’ the Beer Gut (Holla Day Version)” (No. 51), American Idol finalist Danny Gokey’s “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me” (No. 55), Jonathan Singleton & the Grove’s “Look Who’s Back in Love” (No. 56) and Evan Taubenfeld’s wildly aspirational “Merry Swiftmas (Even Though I Celebrate Chanukah) (No. 59).
Resurfacing on the albums chart are Dolly Parton’s Dolly (No. 63), the multi-artist package Best of Country Gospel (No. 71), Willie Nelson and Asleep at the Wheel’s Willie & the Wheel (No. 73) and Rodney Carrington’s El Nino Loco (No. 75).
These are the real sounds of the season.
