Taylor Swift Voted Entertainer of the Year by Associated Press

Taylor Swift was selected entertainer of the year by The Associated Press in a poll of the news service's newspaper editors and broadcast producers. In November, she was selected entertainer of the year at the CMA Awards. During the past 12 months, Swift has won numerous awards, including album of the year honors from the CMA and ACM for her latest project, Fearless. The album is now quintuple platinum for shipments of more than 5 million copies. At one point in 2009, she had eight songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also headlined a 52-city tour of North America, hosted Saturday Night Live and gained even more national attention when Kanye West interrupted her acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards.
