Carrie Underwood has inspired a new character on Sesame Street named “Carrie Underworm.” Underwood also recorded a short song, “The Worm Anthem,” specifically for the show. Pictured as an orange worm with long, blond hair and a wireless microphone, her musical segment is introduced by NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon. The scene also includes Oscar the Grouch. The Sesame Street episode is scheduled to air on PBS on Thursday (Feb. 11), as well as March 17, April 8 and April 26. Underwood sang the national anthem Sunday (Feb. 7) at the Super Bowl in Miami.
