Brownies (For 50)

1 pound butter (room temperature)
¾ cup cocoa
6 eggs
4 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups pecans or coconut
¾ cup evaporated milk

Preheat oven to 350°.

Cream butter and cocoa. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs that are beaten. Mix and sift flour, baking powder and salt.

Add remaining ingredients — coconut or nuts and vanilla. Cook in preheated oven at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Cut in squares. Makes 50 servings. (Bible school brownies!)
