Barbara Mandrell’s former home, a 27,000-square-foot log cabin called Fontanel Mansion, will open to the public on June 1. In addition, the property will offer a discounted admission between June 7-13 to coincide with the CMA Music Festival. Tickets during the festival are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance. In addition, free round-trip shuttles from downtown Nashville will be available for festival attendees. Fontanel Mansion will donate a dollar from each festival attendee’s tour ticket to the CMA’s “Keep the Music Playing” campaign that benefits music education programs in Metro Nashville Public Schools.
