Mary Chapin Carpenter, Lonestar, Jo Dee Messina Release New Albums

Mary Chapin Carpenter, Lonestar and Jo Dee Messina released new albums on Tuesday (April 27). Carpenter’s The Age of Miracles (Zoe/Rounder) includes harmonies from Vince Gill and Alison Krauss. She will receive the Americana Music Association’s Spirit of Americana Free Speech in Music Award on Tuesday night (April 27) in Washington, D.C. Lonestar’s Party Around the World (Saugaro Road) features lead singer Cody Collins, who joined the group in 2007. Messina’s Unmistakable: Love (Curb) is a nine-song EP that is the first in a planned trilogy of albums.
